Thank you for your interest in the Mercer County Clerk's Office Property Alert Service.

By signing up for this service, you are taking the first step in protecting your property. By registering, you are now able to track your property and you will receive e-mail alerts immediately if a document with your name or property description is recorded in the Mercer County Clerk's Office.

Unfortunately, property and mortgage fraud is a fast growing crime in the United States. Unscrupulous individuals record fraudulent documents like fake deeds or liens against property owners.

Registration is FREE and simple. Follow steps at the Mercer County Clerk's website for any type of land owned in Mercer County, whether occupied or vacant. You may also wish to register properties for a friend or elderly relative to help protect them from fraud.

If you find you are a victim of fraud, you can call the Mercer County Clerk's Office Assistance Hotline at 609-989-6470. Someone will provide you with public resources available to assist you. You can also call the Mercer County Office of Consumer Affairs to lodge a complaint at 609-989-6671.

Congratulations on protecting your property, one of your most important assets.

We are happy to serve you!

Sincerely,

Paula Sollami Covello, Esq.
